Grandma Singleton's Sticky Toffee Cheese & Bread Pudding

Serves 8



300g Grandma Singleton's Sticky Toffee Cheese
1 Loaf White sliced bread, without crusts
3 Eggs
3 Egg yolks
100g Caster sugar
300ml Milk, whole
600ml Cream, double



  1. Weigh all ingredients as listed above.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 150 degrees and line a baking tray with greeseproof paper.
  3. Slice the bread into 1/4's, leave to one side.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, egg yolks and sugar together until it turns a pale yellow.
  5. Whisk in the cream and milk until a smooth liquid is achieved.
  6. Dip the bread into the egg mixture and arrange in the bottom of the baking tray.
  7. When the bottom of the baking tray is covered, crumble over some of the cheese.
  8. Repeat until all of the bread and cheese is used.
  9. If there is any egg mixture left, pour slowly over the top of the dish.
  10. To finish, sprinkle a little sugar on the top of the last layer of bread.
  11. Leave to soak for 1-2 hours.
  12. Bake for 40-60 minutes / until the custard has set and the top is brown.
