NANTWICH INTERNATIONAL CHEESE AWARDS

Longridge’s Singletons Dairy saw its Parlick Fell Ewe’s Milk Cheese pick up gold in the Speciality Cheese Class and J Sainsbury Retailer Class.  They also won a gold for their Piccalilli in the Savour Additive (Cheddar) Cheese class.

 

Garstang-based Dewlay collected five gold medals for its Creamy, Crumbly and Tasty Lancashire cheeses as well as it traditional Red Leicester and Double Gloucester among its total of 15 medals at the Cheshire show.

 

Butler’s Farmhouse Cheese, of Inglewhite, near Preston, collected an impressive 29 medals at the awards including eight gold, eight silver and seven bronze with a trophy for best soft cheese with its Raven Oak goats cheese.
